  1. The Sniffer is working fine in my iTunes on my PC but I noticed when I go to it in my iPhone it shows nothing new since July. I update my iPhone every week or so with iTunes so I never noticed there was a problem. So I can't help you but at least I can give you a bit more information.

  2. Thanks, Scott. The more information we have the better, to help with the diagnostics. Thanks for listening to the sniffer!

  3. Vinyl, vinyl, vinyl, Nora. Anything recorded for vinyl records can never sound as good played in any other format. It's purely a matter of tech and not personal taste. I'll go on. Album artwork is a part of our history now, and it must be preserved. I still try to get downtown and buy a few albums based on nothing more than the artwork a few times a year, just like I've done most of my life. How else would I have a copy of "Soundtrack music of noir German mystery television shows of the 60's"? And lastly, CD's melt and mp3's are an itty bitty compressed piece of garbage that is only listenable using today's headphones that are specially designed for their playback. The fact that itunes charges money for them is a crime, and that people pay for them, a joke. Especially when there are much better formats available.

Oh and for some reason I don't subscribe to the Sniffer for my trusty iProd (of which mp3's are perfectly suited), though I do, the Spark. For some reason the Sniff sits comfortably in the top left corner of my netvibes home page, in widget form. And my only podcast to do so….hmmmm.

  4. Okay – so new information – the last Sniffer in my iTunes on my PC is this podcast. No new ones have shown up since then.

  5. Uh oh. That's new. Thanks.

  6. Thanks all. I guess we're going to have to dump and start again. Arg

  7. Its working in iTunes & my iPhone!

  8. Thanks Scott. We're really at odds as what to do about this. I guess we could start telling people we were going to pull it down for a month or so to give them a good heads up.
